Makeup Must Haves ! When on the go

We all have a special place for makeup in our hearts that just never seem to get replaced. Today i will be telling you all about some products that are essential to have in our bags when we are on the go.
In order to have a solid on the go makeup kit you will need 7 products that will have you covered at all times and give you a fresh looking face that is ready to go!
1. Concealer or BB Cream
Another option can be using a BB Cream if you are blessed with naturally flawless skin. A BB Cream with help even out your skin tone giving you a much more cleaner canvas to work with.
I would suggest using a good moisturizer and prepping your skin well as under eye concealers can sometimes be really drying. One of my favorite concealers is the Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer. This concealer is at par with some of the high end brands and covers up all the imperfections, it blends like a dream and does not crease.
The Garnier Skin Natural BB Cream, is very easily available both in stores and on online platforms. It has a beautiful formula that is moisturizing but does not feel sticky on the skin. It is not very thick in consistency so it does not provide too much coverage but its just enough for a BB Cream. The only downside to this product is that it only comes in one shade.
2. Compact / Setting Powder
To set all your concealer and BB Cream you will need either a loose setting powder or a compact powder. The powder will not only lock in place your base but will also give your face a nice matte look so that you do not look shiny at time during the day. Keeping a powder in your bag in general is a good idea as you can reapply anytime during the day if you feel the oils are coming back.
There are a ton of products available in the market and it gets hard to choose because they are all good in their own way. But something that works for everyone and has been a favorite of almost everyone is the Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder. This is a beautiful powder that has a mineral formula and it provides a shine free and smooth finish. It comes in a few different shades so it can work for almost everybody. This is an absolute must have! For the compact powder i would suggest you get the Colorbar Perfect Match Compact, this compact is very lightweight, it does not feel heavy on the skin. Stays on for a good amount of time and controls the shine. You only need a little bit of it and Voila! you have a flawless looking base that looks beautiful and natural .
3. Eyebrow pencil
Your eyebrows can make or break your look. They can instantly give you much cleaner and defined look. Even when you do not have a full face of makeup on, some naturally filled in brows and a lip product will do the job. It is very important that you choose the right color and type of product for your eyebrows. Just to make sure they do not look too heavy and drawn on. Some people prefer powder, some prefer a pomade but i personally prefer a brow pencil, as it help in drawing brow like strokes making it look a lot more natural.
The Wet n Wild Ultimate Brow Retractable Brow Pencil happens to be one of my preferences. It comes in a few different shades. The pigmentation is just right and is also dual ended with the actual product on one end and a spoolie on the other. Its a beautiful product if you are on a budget. If you have a little more to spend you can opt for The NYX Profession Makeup Micro Brow Pencil. Unlike the wet n wild one this pencil has a rounder tip but works just as fine.

4. Eye shadow
Eye shadows can really make your eyes stand out and look a lot more defined and if the right colors are used can also make your eyes appear bigger. For an everyday look and for makeup on the go you can just use a warm brown shade to define your crease and lower lash line and you will be good. But you can obviously do a much more complex look. It is very important that you choose a palette that will have you covered from day to night.
But you can completely skip out on this step if eye shadow is not needed.
One such Palette is by Maybelline, The City Mini Palette. It is a small compact palette that is travel friendly. It has six different shades and also comes in various different styles so you can choose according to your preference. All the colors blend beautifully and are nicely pigmented. Another palette that is just as amazing and is very pocket friendly is the Nykaa Eyes On Me! 10-in-1 Eyeshadow Palette. This palette as mentioned has 10 different shades includes both mattes and shimmer, all the shades are equally pigmented and are very easy to blend. It comes in different variants so you can choose what you prefer.
5. Eyeliner / Kajal
Next in line is eyeliner or kajal whichever floats your boat , and this step could be optional if you just prefer having bare eyelids. An eyeliner will give your eyes the definition that it lacks and make them appear more sharp. You can draw on different types of lines depending on you preference. But if want to wear eyeliner but do not want a very harsh line you can use a pencil on your upper lash line and smudge it out for a more smoked out effect and even better you can use a brown eyeliner or brown eye pencil. The brown will still give you a defined look but it will not be as harsh. Also if you are not into wearing black kohl in you water line, like me, you can go for a nude or a white eye pencil. What this will do is, it will give the appearance of bigger doll like eyes. This is especially a good trick for people with smaller eyes to make them look bigger.
I highly recommend The Rimmel London Exaggerated Waterproof Eye Definer, this is a beautiful eye pencil that will have you covered as it has all the colors that you will need; brown, back, nude, and many more. It comes with a smudger so you do not need a separate one. It has a gel like formula that blends like a dream. If you are into liquid liner, look no further, The Lakme Insta Liner will be you best friend. It is super affordable and has great pigmentation and is extremely easy to apply even for the beginners.
6. Mascara
After the eyeliner this will be your next step. The Mascara will give your lashes a beautiful lift making your lashes separate and give them a lengthened and voluminous look. You can use any type of mascara according your needs.
The L'oreal Paris Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara, the most talked about drugstore mascara for a reason. It is beautiful and does exactly what it claims. Provides the lashes with insane volume without making them look clumpy. Stays put throughout the day and does not budge. My second personal favorite is the Flower Beauty Lash Warrior Mascara. This is yet another beautiful mascara that will leave your lashes looking absolutely stunning. It will coat all your lashes making tum look fuller and longer. It has a long lasting formula and you should definitely get your hands on either one of them and i promise it will be worth every penny.
7. Lipstick / Lip and Cheek Tint
This will be your last and final step of your on the go makeup. A flush of color on the cheek and lip and make your face look a lot more lively and less flat. The tint will give a very subtle wash of color on your cheeks and your lips without being too dark. But if you prefer a lipstick over a tint on your lips you can without any problem use one. The lipstick too can act as a blush, Just a little dab on both the cheeks and blend it out.
For the tint i would suggest that you go for The Face Shop Water Fit Lip Tint. It says it is a lip tint but it can very easily be used as a cheek tint as well. It has a water based formula so it is extremely light weight on the lips. It has a decent staying power but you can easily reapply it anytime during the day. However, if you choose to opt for a lipstick you can without thinking twice go for the Nykaa Ultra Matte Lipstick. Nykaa has absolutely nailed it with this formula. A beautiful Matte formula that is supremely pigmented and does not dry your lips out. It has amazing staying power. The shade range is so vast and has every color that you will ever need. A purchase that will not disappoint you.
