5 High End Foundations! Must Try

Today, as you may have already guessed by the title, i will be telling you all about 5 foundations that are absolutely gorgeous and worth all the hype. Although these are high end meaning that they tend to fall towards the expensive side of things, they are worth every single penny and you will love the experience of using them. 

1. Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Makeup 

This foundation is an experience in itself. It comes in a beautiful frosted glass bottle with a golden screw top. It is full coverage but is also very lightweight and very easy to blend. It does not smudge and stays in place like the name suggests. It also has broad spectrum SPF 10. 

It is perfect if you are looking for a feel good foundation that works in all seasons. It settles down to a matte finish, but is also very hydrating on the skin. 

The only downside to this product is that it does not come with a pump and dispensing the product can be a little bit of a hassle. And if you do wish to get a pump you will have to buy it separately. 

The shade range is absolutely phenomenal with almost 50 shades of foundation that will fit each and every skin tone. It is easily available on online shopping apps. Also if you wish to test it out initially you can also get your hand on the mini version.

2. Clinique Beyond Perfection Foundation + Concealer

Out of all foundations mentioned, this has to be my favorite. As the name suggests this is a foundation that also works as a concealer. The packaging is nice and heavy and it feels luxurious. It comes in a glass bottle and it has wand applicator that usually comes with a concealer. The coverage is buildable. It sets to very natural finish with a little dewiness, however it does not look greasy. 

It stays put throughout the day, and it also does not emphasize any texture or pores on the skin. Just evens out the skin tone. It also melts into your skin making it appear flawless.

Since it has a thick consistency, you should avoid applying a thick layer around your eyes as it may crease a little or you should bake your under eye area in place. Apart from this, it is a winner. 

This foundation has a shade range of almost 40 shades with all different undertones and skin tones. 

Priced at Rs.3250 for 30ml of product. 

3. Smashbox Studio skin 15 Hour Wear Foundation

This has been a holy grail foundation for so many people i know and so to say for the right reasons. The packaging is very minimal yet elegant, it come in a glass bottle that feels very sturdy and also has a pump that makes life a lot easier. 

It is one of those products that can be worn throughout the year without having to worry about the weather and how your skin changes with it.  A good moisturizer is all you need, although the foundation itself settles into a matte finish it does not dry out the skin or emphasize dry skin/patches. The coverage is buildable and it will last you through the night. 

There is really nothing bad that can be said about this foundation because this is one hell of a product! 

This foundation is available in 39 different shade, which means that no one is being left out and you can find exactly what you are looking for. 

Retailing at Rs.3300 for 30ml. 

4. M.A.C Studios Fix Fluid SPF 15 

This is such a classic foundation and has been around for so long, and is a cult favorite of many. It come in a simple yet elegant glass bottle with a screw top and black cap. 

It is a medium to full coverage foundation and has a slightly thick consistency yet is very smooth. Settles into a matte finish and is a dream to blend. With this foundation a little goes a long way. It will last you all day. Also, it has built in SPF which is great for the day time. It makes your skin look absolutely flawless without making it look like you have a lot on. 

The only downside to this foundation again is that it does not come with a pump. If you do need a pump you will have to buy it separately. 

The shade range is very impressive with 48 shades ranging from lighter to deeper skin tones and different under tones. 

It retails for Rs.2700 for 30ml of product. 

5. Huda Beauty #FauxFilter Foundation 

Last and by no means the least we have this foundation from Huda Beauty. The packaging of this product is so beautiful, it comes in an ombre bottle that looks like glass but is actually plastic. It also has a pump which is very convenient. 

If you are looking for a luxurious full coverage foundation, look no further, this will be your best friend. The consistency is pretty thick and creamy and it blends right into the skin. Even though this is a full coverage foundation this does not look heavy or cakey on the skin. It does  not emphasize texture either. 

The only problem with this is that it has a bit of a perfume like fragrance. So, if you are sensitive in that manner, this is something to look out for. 

There are almost 30 shades to choose from, so nobody misses out on their shade. 

This retails for Rs.3310 and you get 35ml of product.  

With this we finish our list of High-End foundations, that are all beautiful in their own aspects. If you really are not on a budget and can go on a bit of a shopping splurge, definitely do get your hands on either one of these foundations.
